Our client is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Warehouse Worker to join a agile team inTaree responsible for the efficient handling of stores and materials across a multi-tiered warehousing system.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, pick, pack, dispatch, and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
- Use appropriate handling and packaging equipment to prepare shipments for regional delivery.
- Conduct stock checks, report discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Inspect and operate manual handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks.
- Monitor inventory levels and report potential stock shortages.
- Participate in workplace safety audits to uphold a strong health and safety culture.
Requirements
- Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or equivalent experience.
- Valid Driver’s Licence, Forklift Licence,
- Heavy Combination (HC) Licence (Highly regarded)
- Proven experience in warehouse/store environments, with a strong focus on safety and manual handling.
- Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, elevated picking platforms, and packing machinery.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in relevant computer and business systems.
