We're looking for a commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join the Architecture & Design team — Australia's leading media platform for the design and build industry.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, closing opportunities, and delivering integrated marketing solutions across digital, events, content and more.
About the Role
You'll manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and closing new business opportunities. Working across a multi-channel offering digital, print, events, awards, podcast and content marketing - you'll help clients connect with a highly engaged professional audience.
This is a balanced role across account management (approximately 70%) and new business (approximately 30%), with strong internal support across editorial, marketing and production.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients (renewals, upsell, long-term partnerships)
* Identify, prospect and close new business opportunities
* Sell integrated marketing solutions across digital, print, events, awards and content
* Build strong client relationships by understanding business objectives and delivering tailored solutions
* Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
* Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting via Salesforce
* Attend client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams (editorial, marketing, production) to deliver campaigns
What We're Looking For
* 5-10 years' experience in media, publishing, agency or B2B sales
* Proven ability to manage accounts and close new business
* Strong commercial mindset with a solution-led sales approach
* Confident communicator, able to engage Marketing Managers, Brand Managers and business leaders
* Highly organised with strong pipeline and time management skills
* Motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Experience or interest in architecture, design or the built environment is a bonus
