A global leader in food manufacturing with a strong presence in Australia is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team on the afternoon shift at their advanced production facility in West Melbourne.
This is a full-time, permanent role working within a highly automated production environment, where you'll play a key role in keeping the site running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshooting faults and ensuring safety compliance
- Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on motors, control panels, and other electrical systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults to minimise downtime
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
- Carrying out safety inspections and ensuring all equipment meets compliance standards
- Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work completed
What We're Looking For
- A qualified Electrician with a current A Grade licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (food/FMCG ideal)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Able to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- A team player with good communication and safety-first mindset
- Able to work afternoon shift on a permanent basis
