In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and testing the communication links that enable command, telemetry, and data exchange between platforms and ground systems. You will work with RF, satellite, LTE/5G, and other wireless technologies to create resilient network architectures with a strong focus on low latency, redundancy, and cybersecurity. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to advanced technologies and complex engineering challenges.
This is a full-time, Adelaide-based role with excellent access to public transport and parking.
Full relocation is required for interstate candidates; cost assistance is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, configure, and test communication networks for command, control, and telemetry.
* Configure network architecture to ensure resilience, redundancy, low latency, and high throughput.
* Integrate communication systems with wider hardware and software platforms.
* Conduct lab, simulation, and field test activities to validate performance.
* Implement encryption, secure configuration, and intrusion detection measures.
* Develop tools and procedures for monitoring, diagnostics, and sustainment.
* Produce documentation including network designs, test reports, and integration procedures.
