About the Organisation

The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) is a volunteer-based emergency service and the lead agency for flood, storm and tsunami response across New South Wales. Based in Wollongong, NSW SES plays a vital role in supporting communities during emergencies.

About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Admin Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and executive support within a busy government environment. This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide executive support to Director-level staff (minimal diary management).
* General administrative support across the team.
* Purchasing and processing related documentation.

About You

* Previous experience in admin or executive support roles.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* SAP experience (desirable, not essential).

Work Arrangement

* Based in Wollongong NSW.
* Required to work on-site four days per week.
