Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive engagement and bookings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing and be proficient in AI tools, social media, EDMs, digital ads, SEO, and analytics. You will thrive in this role if you are a motivated professional with strong fundamentals and a portfolio or examples of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and bookings
* Manage and grow our social media channels (primarily Instagram & Facebook)
* Plan and execute engaging content calendars
* Use AI tools to support content creation, scheduling, captions, and ideas
* Create and manage EDM campaigns that drive engagement and bookings
* Oversee digital advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads) and report on performance
* Manage website content updates and ensure brand consistency
* Drive organic growth through SEO best practices
* Regularly review analytics to understand what's working and where to improve
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in digital marketing or a motivated marketing graduate with strong fundamentals and a portfolio or examples of work
* Understanding and appreciation of the Byron Bay culture, visitor mindset, and local community
* Confidence using (or keen to use) AI tools to enhance your marketing output
* Strong skills in social media, EDMs, digital ads, SEO, and analytics
* Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
* Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
