About the Role:
This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing early January with possible extension and/or permanency. Shenton College is one of Australia's leading co-educational schools with a population of approximately **** students and 300 staff.

Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for providing high level everyday frontline support of both our students and staff. This includes liaising effectively with staff at all levels, developing innovative solutions to information technology problems, installing and maintaining network systems incorporating the Internet and Electronic Mail, and developing effective administrative practices.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. You should also have conceptual and analytical skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Although previous experience with the Department of Education's Standard Operating Environment (SOE) will be well regarded, it is not essential, and we encourage applicants with diverse technology backgrounds to apply.
You should have previous experience with both Mac and Windows operating systems, associated desktop applications and hardware. It would be desirable if you also have some previous experience with Cisco-based networking infrastructure, audio-visual equipment, printers and other peripheral hardware.
