Role Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator or Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for leading a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met, and supporting their holistic development in a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and care for children in a group setting, ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate play-based learning activities that support children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
* Assist children with daily routines, including rest, meals, and personal care.
* Guide children's behaviour and encourage the development of positive relationships.
* Observe, record, and report on children's learning and progress.
* Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean, and engaging at all times.
* Build and maintain effective communication with families regarding their child's needs and development.
* Work collaboratively with other educators to deliver programs that meet the National Quality Standards and reflect the centre's philosophy.
Requirements
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher qualification in a related field).
* All qualifications & levels of experience welcome to enquire.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
