As it expands, the company seeks a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to maintain its extensive fleet and ensure smooth operations across New South Wales. Role Overview: As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will inspect, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
Your hands-on work with modern trucks will directly impact our service quality. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems).
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to meet safety regulations.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Collaborate with the transport team to schedule maintenance and prioritize repairs.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
What the Company Offers: Hourly Rate: Competitive rate of $45- $55 with a schedule from Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Licensing and Certifications: Valid driver's license (preferably heavy vehicle endorsement); additional certifications like HR license are a plus.
