Civil Supervisor – Nhulunbuy Residential

Nhulunbuy is located on the Gove Peninsula in the north-eastern corner of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with expertise in poly welding, earthworks, and building maintenance to join our residential team in Nhulunbuy.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the delivery team, working across a variety of intra-divisional construction and maintenance projects. Projects include Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical works, encompassing both capital projects and ongoing maintenance activities within the Nhulunbuy region.
You will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced managers and Project Engineers/Coordinators to support the successful delivery of projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Qualifications in a relevant field (Engineering or Trade background)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a construction or mining environment in a similar role
* Strong understanding of core construction fundamentals
You will demonstrate strength in the following areas:
* Quality assurance
* Work pack development
* Procurement and quoting
* Scheduling and reporting
* Contract administration
* Leadership and mentorship
This role involves varied and often challenging work, including travel, and will suit an ambitious individual seeking career progression in a construction and mining environment. You will be supported by a large team of Engineers, Superintendents, and Supervisors.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven ability to deliver multi-disciplinary technical construction projects
* Experience in industrial or commercial construction environments
* Strong ability to identify and manage contractual, scheduling, and safety risks
* Effective stakeholder management across multiple disciplines
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
