We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide technical designs and solutions throughout the sales cycle to ensure our partners and customers know the full value of our video and audio solutions. This will involve working closely with the Sales team and contributing to the growth of the business by positioning us as the market leader.
You will also be responsible for building awareness and educating our network and wider community about our products and solutions through presentations, webinars, industry networks, training, etc.
This is a permanent role based in Adelaide, with some travel required domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process including delivering solutions and demonstrations to customers.
* Develop technical written presales material.
* Proactively engage with new business opportunities when communicating with Partners.
* Work with integrators and technology Partners during the project sales process.
* Collaborate across multiple departments (internally & externally) to ensure we get the best outcomes for our partners.
* Construct and deliver technology and/or customer-specific training.
* Provide technical updates to our partners.
* Attend and represent us at industry trade shows and events.
Qualification and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
* Ideal experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role in the field of network video and/or physical security markets.
* Good knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to build and maintain relationships with customers.
* Self-motivated and team player.
* Good organisational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and time for customer needs.
