Role Description
The Senior Business Partner – Resourcing and Revenue acts as a strategic partner to the lines of business (LoB), supporting commercial and operational outcomes through expert resource planning, stakeholder management and revenue analysis. This role and the function more broadly connect the work of the Client Partnership team with the delivery of work in the LoB.
Responsibilities
Commercial Management
* Provide input to Client Partners to develop client proposals, Statements of Work (SoW) and commercial propositions with inputs from LoBs
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client invoicing and debt management
* Ensure accuracy of revenue pipeline data in CRM system
* Detailed understanding of the commercial objectives of the business to ensure RRO is fully aligned to them
* Responsible for revenue recognition substantiation
* Engagement margin reporting and forecasting
* Detailed understanding of estimating process and tooling, including rates, role types and structure
Resource Planning & Utilisation
* Lead resource allocation and forecasting across assigned LoBs, ensuring optimal utilisation and alignment with business priorities
* Monitor and report on resource utilisation, identifying gaps and opportunities for efficiency
* Collaborate with leaders to implement and improve portfolio operations processes and tools
Strategic Business Partnering
* Build strong relationships with LoB leaders and key stakeholders to understand business needs and enable delivery
* Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, commercial decision making and business expansion
* Identify and manage commercial and delivery risks, supporting long term planning
* Reporting & Insights
* Prepare and present regular reports and insights to LoB leaders and executive stakeholders
* Support the EGM – R & R in delivering timely and accurate reporting for ELT and other governance forums
Systems & Process
* Act as key person in any uplift or enhancement of billing systems, including requirements definition, testing and implementation
Skills & Experience
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
* Comfortable working in an evolving, ambiguous environment
* Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capability
* Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A role would be advantageous
* Experience in transformation environments or project work highly regarded
