Warehouse Manager | Pet Supplies | Flexible Role

About the Role:
We are a small, family-run warehouse in the pet supplies industry. We’re a tight-knit team looking for someone with experience to take over our warehouse operations and help us continue to grow.
Do you want to have flexibility and be able to lead our warehouse team? This is a hands-on role that offers the chance to take ownership of the warehouse function, contribute ideas, and work in a supportive, down-to-earth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
Operate and maintain a forklift (LF licence required)
Supervise and support one other warehouse staff member
Maintain stock accuracy and coordinate inventory levels
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer and wholesale orders
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
Communicate with the owner and team regarding deliveries and workflow
Assist with supplier returns and periodic stocktakes
Requirements:
Experience in a warehouse or logistics role
Current forklift licence (LF) and safe operating skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Confident working independently and making decisions
Able to lead by example in a small team environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to get the job done
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $63,000–$70,000 + super, depending on experience.
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 38 hours/week
