We are seeking a highly skilled Policy, Research and Advocacy Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will play a leading role in coordinating and overseeing our strategic policy, research, and advocacy priorities.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing comprehensive policy strategies that support the health sector.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for policy development and implementation.
* Liaising with government agencies and other external partners to enhance policy outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in health or social policy, planning, research and/or governance.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in comprehensive primary health care, including the social and cultural determinants of health.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Indigenous people and people from diverse backgrounds.
