Woods & Co are partnering with a well-established and growing residential builder specialising in medium-density townhouse developments across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of all post-construction defects and maintenance.
This is a key role within the business, suited to someone who thrives on problem-solving, takes pride in quality outcomes, and enjoys being the go-to person for ensuring homes are delivered to the highest standard even after handover.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing all maintenance and defect-related activity across a portfolio of completed townhouse projects.
* Overseeing and managing all post-handover defects and warranty items
* Coordinating trades and subcontractors to complete maintenance works
* Conducting site inspections and defect assessments
* Managing timelines and ensuring works are completed efficiently
* Liaising with homeowners to resolve issues professionally
* Maintaining accurate records of defects, works completed, and costs
* Driving continuous improvement in build quality and defect reduction
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience in a maintenance, defects, or site supervisor role with a residential builder
* Strong understanding of residential construction (townhouse experience highly regarded)
* Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients and trades
* Ability to prioritise, manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
