About The Role
The Service Desk Officer onsite at Wodonga will be a valued member of the IT team responsible for providing the first point of contact for AWH staff, delivering 1st-level customer service support for incidents and requests while maintaining professionalism and meeting agreed service level targets. The role oversees the full lifecycle of requests and incidents and provides open communication between requesters and technical support teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-level customer service support for incidents and requests.
* Oversee requests and incidents until completion.
* Maintain an open communication channel between the requester and technical support teams.
Qualifications
* Degree, Certificate III in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
* Strong problem‐solving capabilities with an analytical, methodical, and effective approach.
* Ability to communicate solutions to customers via email, phone, online, and face‐to‐face.
* Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, can‐do approach to resolving requests.
* Experience in working collaboratively to identify and implement continuous service improvement for IT.
* Current valid Australian driver's licence.
* Experience working in the public health sector or a related industry.
