**About the role**
News Corp is looking for a Digital Performance Planning Manager, to join the team on a 12 month maternity leave cover. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving business success and delivering outstanding results for our brands. Your passion for understanding audience behaviour and your expertise in informing digital campaign optimisations will play a pivotal role in taking our Digital Performance media team to new heights.
**What you'll do**
- Strategic planning: You will be responsible for developing the strategy & plans across digital platforms. This includes an advanced ability to be able to interrogate data to draw meaningful insights that inform future direction, experience with customer centric approach to planning, ability to effectively set up testing frameworks & to analyse cross platform results to model optimal spends & tactics to deliver constant revenue growth.
- Financial management: You will manage and execute best practices for the procurement of external media. This involves effectively utilizing financial resources and optimizing media spend to achieve desired results.
- Support revenue growth strategies: You will play a role in supporting revenue growth strategies, such as new product development and go-to-market rollout. Additionally, you will conduct campaign yield analysis and management to maximize revenue generation.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Regular communication with relevant marketing, ad-tech, operational stakeholders is vital. You will maintain regular stakeholder communications, respond to business requests, and seek feedback to ensure expectations are met.
- Performance monitoring and improvement: You will monitor the performance of current campaigns, making necessary improvements to optimize performance and ensure they meet goals. Your test and learn mentality makes you an asset to any organization.
- Reporting and analytics: Accurate and timely reporting of relevant metrics is essential. You will provide reports on various performance metrics, always seeking out insights and performance improvement recommendations based on data analysis.
**About You**
- An innovative thinker with a test and learn mindset
- Experience with planning, trading and reporting capabilities within Meta Business Manager & Google Ads.
- Familiar with the digital media landscape, staying at the forefront of digital marketing and changing customer behaviour
- Comfortable using data-driven approaches to develop targeting, to measure, interpret and optimise results
- Experience in search engine marketing (SEM) with proficient knowledge of bid management is required to maintain and improve both performance and stakeholder communications
- Proven understanding of digital marketing principles and experience in omni channel campaign delivery (either individually or within a team)
- Digital media buying experience across additional programmatic (display, social, video) and affiliate marketing will be regarded favourably, especially if with a media agency background
