About The Role

Our Bakery portfolio is a major growth engine for SunRice ANZ, and we're looking for a Brand Manager ready to help shape its future. From pizza bases that save busy weeknights, to croissants worth lingering over, golden waffles and chilled desserts that disappear fast – this role sits at the centre of the food moments Australians love most.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working alongside a Senior Brand Manager, you'll take true end‐to‐end ownership of your part of the portfolio – from insight and strategy through to launch, optimisation and growth. You'll be part of a highly collaborative Marketing and R&D community, partnering closely with Sales, Category, Finance, Operations and agency teams to turn great ideas into great products.

This is a hands‐on role for someone who thrives on seeing strategy come to life – on shelf, in store and ultimately in consumers' homes.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Owning and growing the Bakery portfolio from idea to shelf (and beyond), identifying opportunities for new products linked to consumer insight, optimising and delivering profitable growth with the existing portfolio, all with a growth mindset.
* Translating insight and market trends into actionable product development, working with internal teams and customers to deliver NPD to market.
* Working closely with cross‐functional teams (Sales, R&D, Operations, Category and Finance) to deliver launches smoothly, on time and with impact.
* Building and executing clear, compelling brand plans that balance creativity with commercial outcomes.
* Tracking performance, understanding what's driving results, and confidently recommending next moves.
* Playing an active role in brand communication and activation, from BTL execution to supporting ATL development and social strategy.
* Partnering with agencies to brief well, give great feedback and bring bold ideas to life.
* Managing budgets responsibly, making sure A&P investment work hard and delivers value.
* Staying curious about the category, the consumer and the competitive set – always looking for ways to make our Bakery brands better, bigger and more relevant.
About You

'You' are a Brand Manager with at least two years' experience in FMCG, ideally food, and you genuinely love what you do – as well as a great baked good! You bring energy to your work, take pride in the brands you work on, and you get a real kick out of seeing consumers pick up something you helped create.

You're curious, commercial and collaborative – equally happy digging into data as you are tasting new product concepts or workshopping ideas with the team.

You Will Bring
* 2+ years' experience as a Brand Manager within FMCG.
* A genuine passion for food (being a foodie is strongly encouraged).
* Proven NPD experience, including research, packaging and ideally through stage‐gate process.
* Strong relationship‐building skills and confidence working cross‐functionally.
* A growth mindset – adaptable, open to feedback and always learning.
* Solid commercial acumen with experience managing a P&L, A&P budget and influencing outcomes.
