About the Role:
We're seeking a proactive and people-focused Recruitment Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of recruitment services across our business, on a part-time basis.
This role offers variety, exposure to all areas of the candidate lifecycle, and the opportunity to help shape a positive workplace culture aligned with the AEA Way.
Reporting to the General Manager – People, Culture & Safety this role provides essential administrative support to the People, Culture & Safety (PCS) team by coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities across the AEA Group. You will play a key role in ensuring recruitment processes are efficient, timely, and compliant with AEA requirements.
The position will also support AEA's labour-hire function as it grows, assisting with high-volume recruitment needs and ensuring a smooth, professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Initial phone screening of shortlisted applicants
Scheduling interviews and calendar management
Arranging pre-employment checks, including medicals and reference checks.
Supporting onboarding processes including document preparation, compliance tracking and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
Drafting and posting of job advertisements across AEA recruitment platforms.
Providing general administration support to the PCS team as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a recruitment support role.
Demonstrated working knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices, including relevant legislation.
Previous experience with Employee Connect or a similar HRIS / ATS platform (preferred)
Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
Confidence in juggling priorities and working with a diverse, mobile workforce.
Previous experience in the construction, mining, or related industries is highly regarded.
