Opportunity
Based at our Hobart depot, we are seeking an experienced Truck Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver for full‐time work performing essential services throughout the region. This is a physically demanding position, requiring regular exiting of the vehicle to manoeuvre bins and complete collections safely.
Responsibilities
* Operate a rear lift truck in accordance with company and road safety regulations
* Responsible for the rear lift collection vehicle
* Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Maintain presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
About You
* An unrestricted HR Licence with a minimum 12 months' experience
* Clean driving record
* A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer‐service ethic
* Good team attitude, reliable and willing to learn
* A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
* Waste industry experience is not essential
