This position will be based in our Perth office.This role leads the commercial and contractual functions that support the successful delivery of drilling operations to mining clients. This role is critical in ensuring that all commercial activities, including tendering, contract management, cost control, and risk mitigation, are aligned with company objectives and client expectations.Duties and responsibilities:Tender Management: end to end tender process, developing a project plan for each tender submission, coordinating internal stakeholders, tender risk analysis, preparation of costing information, productivity assumptions and final pricing of tender process;Monitor and track the issuance of tenders and their timelines for upcoming retendering opportunities. Develop and implement proactive strategies for responding to tenders, ensuring alignment with business goals to expand market share and enhance operational efficiencyContract Management: monitoring contract expiry dates and rollover process, ensuring all charges are covered under the scope of the contract and tracking established contracts (schedule, deliverables, invoicing and closeout);Ongoing monitoring of project performance and contract, including: KPIs, prepare and coordinate quarterly and monthly review meeting presentations, calculating bonuses/penalties, pricing adjustments, rise/fall clauses and other relevant financial metrics;Regularly visit field operations to ensure that contracts are being efficiently executed to the customer’s satisfaction.Provide direction, support, and oversight to ensure all contractual and commercial activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and client requirements.The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, coordinating bids and tenders, preferably within the mining industry. In addition, tertiary qualifications in a related field (Commerce, Accounting, Finance) is preferred.The successful applicant must possess:Strong business acumen with sound knowledge of financial modelling;Problem solving, strategic and analytical capability;Effective time management, with a structured approach to work and high attention to detail;Excellent communication skills - written and verbal;Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Safety and a zero harm culture is a core part of our business.
