Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Project Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure Schedule development for bid preparation and provide planning tender documentation and cost estimation
* Ensure the development of resource loaded overall master schedule and project detailed schedules are aligned with stated deliverables
* Ensure the implementation of integrated planning processes and standards
* Ensure the project Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
* Earned Value Management (EVM).
* Critical path analysis, S-curve and progress reporting
* Program integrity checks and schedule risk analysis
* Support Project Team in analysis of scope of work, definition of the work breakdown structure by implementing and optimizing project execution plans
* Support planning team members to get desired outcome
* Support Project Controller for the economical monitoring of project
* Guarantee project reporting in a reliable and timely manner
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
* 10+ years relevant experience of project planning and monitoring
* Primavera P6and MS Project
* Project Management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of rail signalling, control systems and rolling stock is highly desirable
