Teacher – Allied Health (Sunshine Coast Health Institute)
TAFE Queensland is Australia's largest vocational education and training provider. This role supports the delivery of allied health training at our Sunshine Coast Health Institute campus, including both virtual and face‑to‑face instruction.
Key Responsibilities
* Display teaching competence and a student‑centred approach.
* Lead and manage effective learning across classroom, workplace, simulated and online environments to maximise student engagement and success.
* Use flexible, blended and inclusive techniques for diverse student cohorts.
* Design, develop and implement assessment tools that meet industry standards.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance training quality.
* Build relationships with students, client groups and staff through meetings and events.
* Ensure safety procedures and sustainability practices are followed in learning environments.
* Contribute to program planning, design and review.
* Engage in professional learning to maintain currency of skills and knowledge.
* Perform administrative duties, monitor attendance and progression, and provide feedback.
* Promote corporate values such as Safety First, Working Together, and Customer Focus.

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
* Vocational competency at the level delivered and assessed.
* HLT43021 – Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
* Training and assessment credentials (TAE40122 or equivalent, TAE50116, TAE50216, etc.).
* Current industry skills relevant to the training.
* Evidence of professional development in vocational training and assessment.
