About the role
Geelong Construction Supplies is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Grovedale, VIC. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering construction materials and supplies to our valued customers across the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate a company vehicle to transport and deliver construction materials and supplies to customer sites
* Liaise with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
* Perform pre-checks and maintain the company vehicle in good working condition
* Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries as required
* Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 20kg when loading and unloading deliveries
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries
* Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
What we're looking for
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Current car licence (C) as minimum requirement
* Experience in a similar delivery driver or courier role, preferably in the construction industry
* Knowledge of local roads and routes
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Australian work rights are essential for this position
