DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Manager, Operations in Goulburn.
This role is responsible for delivering efficient and profitable warehouse operations by overseeing staff, inventory accuracy, order management, stock control, invoicing, and the safe, timely distribution of goods. The position also manages supplier relationships and engages directly with customers to ensure service quality.
Your typical day at DSV:
* Oversee warehouse operations, including cost control, inventory accuracy, and adherence to all processes and standards.
* Manage warehouse systems, reporting, forecasting, and maintain compliance with certifications (e.g., Quarantine, HACCP, Customs).
* Ensure safe, efficient equipment use and recommend improvements to warehouse, dispatch, and receiving procedures.
* Lead and support the warehouse team, ensuring stability, productivity, and access to necessary tools and training.
* Maintain strong customer relationships, meeting contractual obligations and resolving customer or supplier issues.
* Manage administration tasks including billing, P&L oversight, KPI reporting, and ensuring full compliance with operational procedures.
About you:
* Minimum of five years' experience in warehouse management, ideally within contract logistics.
* Strong understanding of P&L management, customer accounts, and OH&S and legislative requirements.
* Proven ability to manage people, build capability, and lead a productive warehouse team.
* Skilled in stakeholder communication with strong verbal and written abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with solid system literacy.
* Highly organised, safety‐focused, and committed to operational excellence.
