About the Role
Client is seeking a
Software Engineer (Developer)
to join its Technology Command. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications and integrations that underpin critical operational and corporate services.
You'll work in a hybrid, agile environment alongside personnel to modernise and sustain foundational technology platforms, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance collaboration across policing and partner organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse complex ICT business issues and recommend design solutions
Design and update system artefacts to reflect proposed changes
Implement proposed changes and coordinate with testing, release management, and operations teams
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
Work effectively in an
Agile delivery environment
Mentor and transfer knowledge to other teams
Ensure compliance with governance, documentation, and information management requirements

Experience working in
Agile teams
and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Ability to mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to colleagues
