About the Role:
Echuca Regional Health is seeking enthusiastic and suitably qualified Dental Assistants to join pour dynamic Dental department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team environment, delivering high-quality care to our community
Key responsibilities include:
* Provision of chair-side assistance to dental operators for all dental procedures
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with infection control, cleaning and sterilizing procedures
* Ability to perform reception duties for dental clients, including maintaining records and preparing reports
* Managing an adequate supply and appropriate rotation of stock items
* Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
* Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
Qualifications/experience required:
* Certificate lll in Dental Assisting or Nationally recognised equivalent qualifications
* Proven experience as a Qualified Dental Assistant
* Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to work as a member of the team, within a range of community and professional groups
