Featherston Interiors is a boutique showroom specialising in high-end furniture, custom curtains, and blinds. We work with private clients and interior designers, delivering design-led, tailored solutions with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and service.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Retail Sales Consultant to take a leading, hands-on role in our showroom. This position goes beyond traditional retail sales and is suited to someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and managing customised projects from first consultation through to installation.
The Role
* Deliver consultative, design-led sales across furniture, curtains, and blinds
* Provide considered styling and product advice tailored to each client
* Manage client relationships and customised orders end-to-end
* Upsell and cross-sell complementary and premium products where appropriate
* Liaise with suppliers and coordinate deliveries and installations
* Maintain a polished, well-presented showroom
* Work independently and take ownership of customer outcomes
About You
* Proven retail sales experience, ideally in furniture, interiors, or luxury retail
* Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
* High attention to detail, particularly with customised orders
* Confident working autonomously in a premium retail environment
* Genuine interest in interiors, design, and quality products
