Career Medical Officer Role Overview
The Career Medical Officer role is a critical position within our team, responsible for the assessment, investigation, and initial management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department under the supervision of the Emergency Physician on duty.
This challenging role requires a medical officer who can work autonomously in a complex clinical environment, utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years postgraduate experience, including six months of emergency medicine experience in an Australian Emergency Department within the last two years.
