Aged Care Rehabilitation Services is a Perth based rapidly growing provider of allied health services to the community and residential aged care facilities across the metropolitan area.
With a team of over therapists including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Dietician, Exercise Physiologists and Speech Pathologists while working in a Multi-disciplinary team environment, we are dedicated in improving the provision of allied health services to residents living in aged care homes and in-home clients within the community.
We provide services to Residential aged care facilities within WA and In Home Community/NDIS/STRC and Home care package clients within Perth metro areas making us one of the largest boutique allied health providers within Western Australia specifically tailored towards high quality rehabilitation treatments for the Geriatric Population.
About the role
Multiple vacancies: We are currently seeking Casual or Locum Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist throughout Perth metropolitan areas (North and South of river) who intend to make a real difference in the lives of the elderly.

Key Responsibilities
* Delivering evidence-based Physiotherapy/Occupational assessments, individualistic treatments including rehabilitation, reablement, pain management and falls prevention interventions
* Wellness, rehabilitation and re-enablement based therapy customised as per resident client needs.
* Restorative services through referral based model and private billing services within an aged care facility
* Falls prevention and education
* Development and implementation of individualised therapeutic exercise programs based on resident specific goals
* Driving innovation through creativity and continuous improvement initiatives
* Develop individually tailored assessment and person centred therapy care programs by selecting and executing appropriate levels of treatment
* Provide in home Physiotherapy/OT services/assessments to clients living in the community through - SaH, CHSP, STRC, NDIS funding packages
About You
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Encouraging a change towards allied health service delivery in residential aged care through rehabilitation and re-enablement programs.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997), Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Accreditation Standards and AN-AAC
* Passionate about aged care and desirable to have prior experience working as a Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist in community or residential aged care settings
* Be physically residing within Australia
