Pharmacy Technician Position Available

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmacy services that directly impact patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and discharges
* Undertake training in aseptic compounding of cytotoxic and non-hazardous medications
* Coordinate safe and timely supply of medications and aseptic products
* Manage imprest and pharmacy inventory
* Maintain accurate records of treatments and future orders
* Enter patient-specific data into pharmacy systems
* Liaise with hospital staff and healthcare professionals
* Assist with PBS claims and patient account enquiries
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy dispensary
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) is desirable
