Position Overview
Mangoola Coal is a modern open‐cut coal operation within Glencore Coal Assets Australia. Our culture is based on responsibility, openness, safety, entrepreneurialism, simplicity, and integrity. We are looking for a highly motivated and influential CHPP Production Supervisor to join our safety‐focused, result‐driven team. This is a permanent, full‐time role on a lifestyle roster with an attractive remuneration package, performance‐based bonuses and potential relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide the safe execution of CHPP operations, including clean‐coal stockpile dozer reclaim, train loading, inspection, repair and maintenance activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the Mangoola Health and Safety Management System.
* Actively support asset management processes, including planned shutdown isolation, task management, operational defect reporting, and preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Control costs at the point of execution, staying consistent with operational budgets.
* Lead by example, providing visible, credible direction and mentoring to deliver safety and production outcomes as planned.
* Promote and maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment and the application of Mangoola Coal values.
* Build positive relationships with stakeholders and the community, while taking all reasonable steps to minimise environmental impact.
Qualifications & Skills
* Trade qualified (Mechanical or Electrical desirable).
* Experience in fixed‐plant maintenance and mining management maintenance systems, policies and procedures.
* Experience in people leadership of personnel in frontline roles.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and related applications.
* Strong personal safety focus and respect for teammates' safety.
* Ability to follow a plan and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
* Positive attitude, reliability and proactive commitment to work.
* Team‐player with high safety awareness, a drive for outstanding performance and willingness to contribute to a winning team.
