Remuneration: $73, $113,226.00 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)

About the role

Are you interested in working in a multidisciplinary team within the drug and alcohol field? Then this role is for you. Join the WNSWLHD Drug and Alcohol teams in delivering high quality services to drug dependent clients.

The Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician functions within a multidisciplinary team, and gives priority to coordination of the recovery of Aboriginal people with a mental illness or disorder, providing expert clinical services in collaboration with consumers, carers and other care providers, using an integrated and person centred approach.

This position will be covering the WNSWLHD Area with virtual and outreach to our regional sites. We offer a therapeutic milieu, in a non-judgmental manner, to alcohol and or drug dependent persons. You will also be supporting the community, generalist health professionals and general practitioners.

The team covers the WNSWLHD area with the main priority for areas that currently not serviced by a Drug & Alcohol team. The team will be providing a diverse range of Drug and Alcohol services including Opioid Treatment, Stimulant Treatment, Psychosocial Services, Addiction Medicine, Cannabis Clinic and Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting service. The team has a mix of skills with a focus on Drug and Alcohol dependent clients.

The role is Monday to Friday day shift hours.
