About the Role: We're looking for a passionate and organised Project Coordinator to join our Thrive: Rights & Advocacy initiative.
This is an empowering, capacity-building program for self-advocates with intellectual disability – amplifying their voices in policy and advocacy conversations.
You'll work closely with a Peer Project Officer and a network of self-advocacy champions, driving the coordination and delivery of project activities including stakeholder engagement, codesign sessions, communications, reporting and more.
A Day In The Life:
* Work collaboratively with self-advocates to build their skills, confidence and leadership in advocacy
* Lead the planning, delivery and tracking of project milestones
* Coordinate codesign activities and facilitate meaningful involvement of people with intellectual disability
* Maintain clear communications with stakeholders and produce high-quality reports
* Build strong relationships across internal teams and external networks
What You'll Bring:
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in social work, human services, disability services or a related field
* Demonstrated experience working with people with intellectual disability
* Knowledge of community development and engagement principles
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
