Our client is a well-established diesel repair and maintenance specialist located on the Fraser Coast, Queensland. The workshop provides high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of diesel vehicles including 4WDs, light commercial vehicles and American trucks.
With a strong reputation for accurate diagnostics and reliable repairs, the business continues to grow and is now seeking an Experienced Light Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join their professional team.
About The Opportunity
As a Light Vehicle Diagnostic Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues across a range of diesel vehicles.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining clear job documentation and reporting findings
* Supporting other technicians with complex diagnostic issues
* Carrying out servicing, repairs and mechanical work as required
* Following OH&S procedures to maintain a safe work environment
* Utilising advanced diagnostic tools and scan equipment to identify faults
* Diagnosing complex drivability, electrical and engine performance issues
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive or Diesel Mechanics
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience
* Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
* A manual driver's licence (MR/HR licence desirable)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
