Medical Receptionist – Audiology Practice | Regional Queensland

Our client is seeking a friendly, organised and community-minded Medical Receptionist to join a dedicated audiology team in Mackay, Queensland.
This is more than a reception role — you will be part of a practice that is focused on improving hearing health outcomes for local people and supporting clients through their hearing care journey.

Location: Mackay, Queensland
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming and assisting clients with warmth and professionalism
* Managing appointments and clinic schedules
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Processing patient records and administrative documentation
* Supporting audiologists with patient flow
* Handling payments and Medicare / private billing (training provided if needed)
About You
You are someone who:
* Loves working with people and supporting the local community
* Has a calm, caring and professional communication style
* Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Can multitask in a busy clinic environment
* Has previous medical or customer service experience (desirable but not essential)
Experience in healthcare, allied health or medical administration will be highly regarded, but we are also interested in candidates with outstanding customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
