Rix Asset Maintenance is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Cairns team. This is an on-site role with an immediate start for a hands-on leader who can drive project success.
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality on our Ground Engineering projects.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role entails:
- Daily coordination of labour and plant
- Run daily pre-start meeting and coordinate team
- Administer site documents, SWMS permits to work etc
- Lead a safe working, productive culture
- Daily stocktake and ordering of materials
- Liaise with client and surveyor to ensure our work area is safe, accessible and prepared
Experience in slope stabilisation, geotechnical works concreting, steel and civil works, is an advantage
Eligibility for this role:
• Full driving licence
• OHS Construction White Card
• Pass a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen
• 4 years site experience in ground engineering/civil projects
• Previous Australian experience
• Effective communication skills
• Practical, hands on approach
• Understanding of OHS legislation, principles, and practice
• The right to work in Australia
