Safety Officer – Sydney
Glascott is seeking a hard‐working, problem‐solving Safety Officer to join the Sydney team. This role supports our project and maintenance teams across Glascott and Technigro, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving safety systems on active projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day WHS support across multiple projects
* Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Assist in developing and reviewing SWMS and safety documentation
* Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
* Deliver toolbox talks and safety training initiatives
* Monitor compliance with WHS legislation and company policies
* Promote a positive, proactive safety culture onsite
Essential Requirements
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in safety roles within landscaping, construction, or maintenance industries
* Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and regulations
* Strong reporting and documentation skills
* Ability to build relationships with site teams
* Driver's licence
* White card
Desirable
* ICAM or incident investigation training
* Return‐to‐work coordination experience
* Internal auditing experience
