Remuneration Package
Remuneration package valued at $168,946.00. Base salary $149,059.00 plus leave loading and employer's superannuation contribution.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage and implement initiatives that address whole school strategic directions and improve learning and engagement for all students.
* Evidence of highly developed interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build the capacity of the PDHPE faculty to embed a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, and nurture positive, quality relationships across the wider school community.
* Demonstrated capacity to lead the PDHPE faculty to plan, implement and differentiate curriculum, assessment and innovative teaching and learning programs.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
