About this opportunity
We are seeking a Civil Construction Engineer to join the Warragul office here at Spiire. Being a part of the Spiire team, means you’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that brings ideas to life.
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
* Attend site inspection and site meetings
* Provide tender and contract administration support
* Chairing construction site meetings
* Managing on-site compliance audits
* Assessing variations, completing reports, cost estimations
* Coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders involved in the project including authorities, developers, clients and contractors.
What we are seeking
As the Civil Construction Engineer, you will support the delivery of civil construction projects in the Gippsland and surrounding regions. This is a newly created role offering exposure across both site and office functions, ideal for someone with hands-on civil experience who’s looking to build a longer-term career pathway into project management. You’ll have experience in land development or infrastructure projects, and you can demonstrate the following:
* Previous site experience in civil construction, ideally land development
* A solid understanding of construction processes and project workflows
* Comfortable working across both site and administrative tasks
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
About the Gippsland Team
Our work covers the surrounding Gippsland region, including projects in communities from Warragul to Wonthaggi & Rowville to Rosedale, underpinned by the knowledge of staff who live locally. This collective local knowledge and experience provide us with a strong understanding of local development practice to deliver exceptional and pragmatic outcomes for rural and regional projects.
