The Merchandise Analyst role is responsible for implementing and supporting merchandise strategies to enable the sales of a wide range of products that meet sales, profit, and affordability targets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining effective communication with stores and internal stakeholders;
* Managing and maintaining the Retail Activity Planner (RAP) for all stores;
* Administering and maintaining Project Management Platforms and documentation;
* Serving as the first point of contact for store queries related to merchandise, supply chain, and nutrition;
* Assisting in generating and analysing weekly data to identify unsatisfactory margins, sales, and social metrics;
* Evaluating marketing and store information together with historical data and forward trends to develop department plans;
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Certificate III in Retail or tertiary qualifications in finance or communications;
* At least two years of experience in administration or retail, preferably with proven experience in grocery management;
* Intermediate experience in Microsoft suite, including ability to analyse data;
* A Working with Children's Check and National Police Certificate;
* Able to work effectively in a remote team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
