**Production Manager Job Description**

The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our production teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence. This individual will be responsible for building a high-performing team that delivers quality products to meet customer expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Promoting a Health and Safety Culture: Ensure all site activities comply with H&S regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
* Quality Standards: Guarantee that all products produced on-site meet agreed-upon quality standards, maintaining a high level of product excellence.
* Site Efficiency: Optimize site operations to achieve maximum efficiency, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
* Budget Compliance: Work closely with various departments to develop and implement strategies that align with budget requirements and targets.
* Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving down costs and enhancing quality through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Employee Motivation and Engagement: Maintain a highly communicative team environment, where employees are well-informed about business performance and empowered to address issues or concerns.
* Project Leadership: Champion projects that drive improvements in site performance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
* Performance Reporting: Develop and present comprehensive reports detailing site performance to various stakeholders across the organization.
* Root Cause Analysis: Lead and champion root cause analysis projects to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.
* KPI Management: Drive key performance indicators into production, utilizing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Material Management: Effectively manage material stocks, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

* Leadership Experience: Proven track record as a leader or manager, leading a team focused on manual processes.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with company policies, legal guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
* IT Literacy: Good knowledge of IT systems and tools.
* Lean and Continuous Improvement: Strong background in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Change Management: Proven experience in driving successful improvement and change management projects.
* Root Cause Analysis: Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
* Desirable Qualifications: ILM level 3 in Leadership and Management, COSHH and risk assessment training.
