We currently offer orthopaedic, neurological and reconditioning rehabilitation programs & group based mental health services.

Key Responsibilities Assessment and treatment of patients to facilitate independence in ADL and quality of lifeDischarge planning including home visits, provision of aids/modifications, and referral to other services in the community as required.Referral of patients to groups or other disciplines within the hospitalAttendance / feedback of information at case conference and family conferencesCommunicate with program coordinator regarding funding/length of stay issues and referral to outpatient therapy.Liaise with other team members regarding patient care and therapy time tablingDocumentation of OT intervention + assistive device / home modification prescription and completion of case management plan and discharge summary Selection Criteria Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and eligibility to join AAOTFull registration with AHPRANeurological Rehabilitation experience preferredSound clinical judgement and clinical reasoning skillsDemonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication & exceptional customer service skillsProven ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary teamSuperior time management and organisational skillsCreate and manage profiles for future opportunities.
