About the Role
As a Personal Trainer, you'll play a key role in supporting our members to achieve their health and fitness goals through tailored, one‐on‐one training sessions. You'll deliver high‐quality programs based on individual needs, while also contributing to the energy and culture of the club. In addition to training clients, you'll be expected to proactively build your client base, support member onboarding, and collaborate with the broader club team to ensure a seamless member experience.

You're a motivated and approachable trainer with a genuine passion for helping others become the strongest version of themselves. You're confident programming and delivering sessions that are safe, effective, and engaging - whether your client is just starting out or training for performance. You're proactive in building relationships and understand that success in this role comes from both strong client results and being a positive presence in the club.
Personal Training Program Development & Execution
* Design and lead a high-impact PT program based on transformation methodology.
* Deliver personalised training plans that address strength, conditioning, recovery, and nutrition.
* Ensure all offerings are aligned with The Commons' brand, mission, and member expectations.
Member Engagement & Transformation Focus
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish clear, measurable fitness and wellness goals.
* Provide regular check‐ins, progress tracking, and motivational coaching.
* Adjust programs as needed based on evolving member needs and performance.
Member Retention & Community Building
* Foster a strong sense of support and camaraderie among PT clients.
* Encourage members to share progress and celebrate milestones.
* Support referral initiatives by cultivating a community that values results and shared growth.
Work Health & Safety
* Ensure all training activities comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
* Promote injury prevention through proper technique and safe training practices.
* Educate both clients and fellow trainers on safe exercise execution.
General
* Assist with sales, marketing, and operational initiatives as needed.
* Support management with the execution of key projects and new initiatives.
* Perform other duties as directed from time to time.
