Aspired Electrical, a leading electrical services provider, is seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team in Epping, Victoria.
As a full-time Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organisation by providing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify the scope of work and develop comprehensive cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information for accurate estimating
Prepare detailed estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, to ensure projects are priced competitively
Continuously monitor market trends, material costs, and labour rates to adjust estimates accordingly
Liaise with clients and project teams to clarify any questions or concerns regarding the estimates
Maintain an organised system for tracking and updating estimates, ensuring a seamless handover to the project execution team
Participate in the continuous improvement of estimating processes and practices
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry
Thorough understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform detailed cost calculations
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams
Familiarity with estimating software and tools, such as Groundplan & Simpro
A relevant electrical trade qualification or engineering degree would be highly desirable
