What you'll be doing:
Completing a one-year Traineeship as a Dental Assistant by undertaking a Certificate III via distance education, providing chairside assistance, and supporting the dental team.
Selection Criteria:
* Willingness to undertake Certificate III in Dental Assisting
* Ability to observe and assist with clinical procedures
* Motivation and ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
* Good manual dexterity
* Effective communication skills with adults and children
* Ability to work harmoniously in a team
* Capacity to maintain confidentiality
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, electronic communication tools, and willingness to learn dental software
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination:
This is a Category ‘A’ position requiring compliance with NSW Health policies, including proof of influenza vaccination for entry into Residential Aged Care Facilities or NSW Health RACFs.
