NDIS Support Worker - Logan & Surrounding Suburbs

The Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate NDIS Support Workers to support participants with complex care requirements, including epilepsy, seizure management, cerebral palsy, hoisting, and personal care.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong clinical awareness, professionalism, and the ability to follow support plans and risk management strategies. Shifts are primarily located in Logan and nearby suburbs, with opportunities across greater Brisbane and surrounding regions.
Key Duties
* Deliver safe and respectful personal care, including toileting, hygiene, and mobility support
* Support participants with cerebral palsy and complex physical disabilities
* Implement and follow seizure management plans, including emergency response procedures
* Perform manual handling and hoisting using approved equipment and techniques
* Assist with domestic tasks, including cleaning and meal preparation
* Provide community access and social support
* Assist with transport to appointments and activities
* Work in accordance with person-centred active support principles
* Maintain accurate shift notes and incident reporting in line with NDIS requirements
* Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies, and WHS requirements
Essential Requirements (Mandatory)
* Current Right to Work in Australia
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
* National Police Check
* First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
* Experience supporting epilepsy and seizure management
* Manual handling and hoist experience
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
* Ability to follow behaviour support and risk management plans
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability Support Experience is required at the time of application
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in disability or aged care support is essential
Desirable Qualifications
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Support, or equivalent
* Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Previous experience in NDIS, disability, or aged care settings
Employment Type and Pay
* Casual Part-time and Casual Full-time positions available
* Pay rates in accordance with the SCHADS Award, plus applicable penalties and allowances

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 38 per week
