Asset Management Specialist
The Asset Management Specialist role requires effective administrative support to manage assets and equipment across a dispersed team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide financial administrative support by undertaking procurement, ICT asset management, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and systems application activities.
* Maintain an efficient records management system for assets, equipment, and software.
* Provide excellent customer service including preparing quotes using organizational and communication skills.
* Offer administrative support to staff across a geographically dispersed team as required.
Requirements:
* Ability to deliver high-quality ICT services with emphasis on coordinating multiple tasks and working unsupervised.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team situations and communicate clear explanations.
* Knowledge of policies and practices relating to asset management, procurement, and records management.
* Demonstrated ability or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and ITIL Service Management processes (primarily incident/configuration management).
Working Conditions:
* It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be vaccinated against pertussis (whooping cough) during their employment.
* Reasonable travel may be a requirement of this position.
* An open 'C' class driver's license is desirable.
