Power Equipment Tech required to ensure the correct and effective repair and maintenance of Company capitalized units, damaged units, and other products as required.

Just Automotive Recruitment is helping in search of Power Equipment Technician to join their team in Somerton. Under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor, the Power Equipment Technician is expected to perform quality work and ensure that all tasks are always completed with accuracy and in the quality standards of the company.
The Job:
Adhere to workshop policy and guidelines, WHS
Complete and record accurate job cards
Ensure that each job is accounted for with parts usage, labour-hours spent, consumables usage, and issue invoice to requesting Departments
Ensure proper storage of records and that records are maintained for capitalised products for training, demonstration etc
Maintain QA records and Service/Calibration histories and records
Ensure Workshop and all equipment is always kept tidy and in secure working conditions and ensuring relevant Associates are appropriately trained in its use
Conduct regular stock count of parts, products and consumables stored in Workshop
Schedule and carry out servicing and maintenance of MPE's Demonstration / Loan units and, if required, customer products
Ensure that damaged products are assessed and damage reports are compiled for insurance purposes
Daily, oversee training of assigned Apprentices to ensure their quality of work is of a high standard
The Person:
Ability to comply with OH&S; procedures
Ability to work under pressure
Trade Technician Qualifications essential
HCT Master Level in relevant discipline
Experience within a similar position is required
Strong communication skills essential
