Overview
Seven Network is seeking a driven, multi‐skilled journalist for our Bunbury newsroom. You will source and write broadcast news for the local WA market, working under the WA News Editor.
Responsibilities
* Generate original daily story ideas for on‐air presentations.
* Interview, write and voice news stories.
* Develop and maintain contacts within the community.
* Research and prepare news reports.
* Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience writing news stories.
* Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications.
* Exceptional written and communication skills.
* Ability to work to very tight/precise deadlines.
* Understanding of Broadcast Law Guidelines.
